I am most likely going to die.

I had hoped and prayed that, at the very least, the class would not be conducted in French. It's a 200-level course, so of course this was wishful thinking. Alas, it was not meant to be.

Professor Davis (in French): We're going to go around the circle, and each of you needs to say an adjective that describes you.
Student 1: *first adjective Anna thought of*
Student 2: *second adjective Anna thought of*
Anna: [Adjective someone already said] aussi.
Professor Davis: Aussi?
Anna: Ja...um, oui.

I had to watch a French news broadcast and answer questions about it for homework. I watched parts of that damn broadcast seven or eight times. The assignment took two hours, and several of my answers are still, "I'm not sure, but I think..."

My brain kept thinking it heard German phrases in the broadcast. Alas, it was mistaken.
