2. There is also incredibly ugly new carpet in Williston. I stare at it too long (read: for about two seconds as I walk up the stairs) and my vision starts to blur.
3. My grape juice moved. For about half of a very agonizing minute, I thought it was gone forever. Luckily, it is simply now on the left and not in the middle (of the juice machines, because you care deeply about this).
4. The International News Room is now the Classics Department. First of all, what. Second of all, departments who have been in the building since the dawn of time are not. happy. Third of all, what.
5. There is now schwarma in the Oak Room on Monday nights. We shall see if it is any good because, oh my goodness, schwarma. I had schwarma for the first time at a hole-in-the-wall place in Amsterdam, where the owner definitely thought that David (who is gay) and Andrea were together. It brings me back to fast food in Europe and how it is nothing like the grease-coated, would-you-like-a-bun-with-your-trans-fat hamburgers here. (Also notable: I wanted a cheeseburger upon my return to the U.S. I went to McDonald's in O'Hare. I told them not to put condiments on my cheeseburger. They put condiments on my cheeseburger. Fuck you, McDonald's.)
6. The registrar has a new website. It is most excellent.
7. I have a new Jack Sparrow poster. This may just be the most exciting thing on this list.
