inspired by Facebook statuses

1. I hate Black Friday, or perhaps more accurately, I hate the idea of it. I don't like thinking about the level of greed that would turn a group of shoppers into a stampede.

Toys R Us is opening for Black Friday at 10 PM tonight. I hate this too. I'm not a religious person, but I do believe in the sacred, and corporate culture should not intrude upon family holidays.

2. I hate snow, or perhaps more accurately, I hate snow that sticks around. Snow is beautiful when it is falling, and the world is never as peaceful as it is when the ground is blanketed with untouched snow in the early morning. I hate snow when it has turned to slush in the road, and drifts along the curb are mixed with grit and dog piss.

3. Processed turkey is wonderful (-ly delicious; I don't want to think about how unhealthy it probably is). I hate fresh turkey.
