jump rope

Up: Todd is in his office to sign my form to allow my study abroad credits to count towards my major. Todd is never in his office. Good work, Todd.

Up: Unexpected lunch with Val, who is still convinced that Sandor Clegane maybe, somewhere, is alive. Oh, Val.

Down: Waiting 30 minutes to interview Teresa and making increasingly frustrated noises until her secretary finally more or less insisted that she stop talking to Tom already.

Up: Successful interview. (Finally. Sorry. My punctuality complex may still be a little miffed.)

Rock bottom: Finding out that I completely misunderstood my French homework, and while what I did produce was decent work, that fact was not enough to keep it out of the seventh circle of Grade Hell. Icing on the cake: I was finally convinced that I didn't completely suck at French. Jumping to conclusions, whoo!

Up: Excellent interview with the IMCT.

Up, up, up: New writers at TKS meeting! Only three stories left on our budget! Charlie and I are two people, so this is easy to cover! I need to start being excited about normal things!

Down: Burned self with pizza. Classy.

I am going to ignore that potentially heartbreaking spoiler there, as I am afraid I am definitely with Val as far as loving the Hound is concerned. Although, to be fair, I am only one book in and have not witnessed him do anything more horrible than reveal his past to little girls and then threaten to kill them.

I came across your tumblr today after your Facebook status hit my Facebook news feed. (The short version of saying: I liked your Facebook status and then clicked to see your profile picture (from somewhere abroad) and then came across the link you provided for annaindeutschland.tumblr.com). So anyway, Laura-and-I both read your Blogger blog. I just thought I would comment and say that you seem to be quite a good writer and amusing (in a good way). I honestly don't your blog religiously, but I do read it occasionally. That, and I recall reading many great Facebook notes that you have posted.
Anyway, thanks for the great and amusing reads, be sure to let us know when you get a book deal.
