So I'm supposed to be writing a three page paper on North Korean propaganda. I've been working on it on and off for five hours. It's turned into a treatise on how the United States' actions in the Korean War made it tea and roses for the North Korean regime to convince its people of the importance of isolationism, self-reliance, and hating America. It's already three pages long, so I could just cut it down to an analysis of two posters instead of three and be done with the wretched thing. But I'm not done. I have more to say.
I miss my 17-page paper on Russian natural gas exports. I wrote it in two straight shots. I also miss my 10-page Syrian sectarianism paper, which I've just started researching and am already super excited about.
I don't like short papers. I don't like cutting myself off mid-thought. I really don't like that I started this paper after brunch AND AM STILL WRITING IT. (Anger is a healthy emotion.)
Concise schmise.
