so cute when you're clueless.
So I guess it's time, once again, to evaluate what I've recently picked up.
!!!: !!! Again, takes a little getting used to. You know how there are certain sounds that appear, well, offensive, at first? This is one of them. But it's not too bad after a bit of accustomization.
Chiodos: The Heartless Control Everything Okay. One thing has to be made clear. The lead vocalist of Chiodos cannot sing. Yet somehow, the band manages to work around this to create a lovely, darkly beautiful screamo sound. I'm diggin' it.
Envy on the Coast: Lucy Gray AH! I've loved this band for a long time, and it's great to finally see them get a full-length out. Great piece of work. Rockers, check this baby out.
Explosions in the Sky: How Strange, Innocence I think I say basically the same thing every time I pick up a new Explosions disc, so it seems kind of pointless to say it again. But I will regardless. Entrancing. Calming. Gorgeous. Enjoy.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire OST A creative soundtrack. Darker too. Goes well with the movie. I like. Short sentences. And this soundtrack. Get it. It's cool.
Muse: Showbiz I'll get back to you on this one once I'm finished listening to it. It's exciting, though. I've read mixed reviews on this one, many of which claim that this band is "nothing special", which, in my opinion, is far from the truth. Maybe their conception said otherwise, though. We'll see soon enough.
Smashing Pumpkins: Zeitgeist Die-hard Pumpkins fans have been ranting about how the band has sold out. But I was never a die-hard Pumpkins fan. A bit rougher and more mainstream than their others, Zeitgeist is still an excellent, solid piece of work. I still love ya, guys.
