Third time's the charm.

Let's see what I've recently picked up.

Death Cab for Cutie: B-Sides and Rare Tracks Will get back to you once I've actually listened to these. But I'm excited. Death Cab's best songs are their lesser-known ones, in my personal opinion.
Eisley: Room Noises If you enjoy female-fronted indie bands, here's an awesome one for ya. Eisley have a unique, haunting sound with beautiful melodies and expressive lyrics. A real treat.
The Faint: Blank-Wave Arcade I will start off by saying this: The Faint progressively get better with each record, and this one being their first major album, it leaves something to be desired. But then again, they were never that bad to begin with. =)
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets OST I never really liked this particular book (though I am a huge HP fan--the kind that actually went to one of those midnight parties), and I didn't enjoy the movie at all. But I do like the soundtrack. It's dark and a little different than the other four. A must-have for fans and a recommendation for the rest of the world.
Muse: Origin of Symmetry Muse is a bit like The Faint as far as improvement goes, but hey, I always enjoy a little bit of techno-infused rock. It's great stuff.
Rilo Kiley: Under the Blacklight I FOUND IT! I was immensely pleased with myself. If you're expecting something like Rilo's other records, be prepared for a big change. Change isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's definitely different (if "The Moneymaker" wasn't a big enough indicator of that). I like it. It's much more listenable than their previous records, and Jenny Lewis' voice just sounds...better. I'm diggin' it.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra: The Lost Christmas Eve No, it's not Christmas...but you can listen to TSO anytime you want some sweet orchestral rock. P.S. I have actually met Mark Wood, violinist for and one of the founding members of TSO. He's an amazing guy--very talented and very funny. I handed him a cable. It was one of the best experiences of my life.

Check it.
