Listening Material
Ah. Davey and Jade have finally gotten it together. Blaqk Audio's first record, CexCells, will be released on August 14. I adore what I've heard so far. No, this is not AFI, though Davey's voice is definitely recognizable. This, I think, would fall more under the category of trance. It's haunting, it's beautiful, and it's different...but different is good.

Bitter for Sweet (Yes, it's a rip. Volume's a little low, but otherwise quite listenable.)
Stiff Kittens (Trivia: Stiff Kittens was Joy Division's original name. This is also a rip. It takes about 10 seconds for the volume to level out; makes for an enjoyable experience afterwards.)

It's interesting, don't you think, that Woodrow Wilson, the hero of WWI and the creator of the League of Nations, set desegregation back nearly 50 years?

They don't teach you that in history class.
